After a heavy two day clearing - a two year lapse due to fires of 2009 and closed roads - we installed 60 hives/singles and later added another 40 - all are minimum doubles, some triple+ with comb boxes on 10hives. Honey is coming in and bee activity is active. (see: Mesa/Tipi Clearing Before Bee Installation / May 2011)
